Born in Brooklyn New York and raised in Queens New York Dj Rell thrives off his musical parents, son of pioneering radio personality Lil Nat and legendary Dj/Producer Mr. Walt of the Beatminerz. He was not steered into the business but led the life of an aspiring basketball player. Dj Rell always had music on the mind but didn’t take it seriously till college when the basketball team was set and he learned of an opening on 101.3 WFAM. Soon after he joined his mother’s formed Dj crew Digital Empire Djs to help expand his brand. Rell has now become the 1st Hip Hop/Reggae dj to have a show on 91.3WWUH radio.
Grinding to become a fixture in the game he has already made a name for himself on the college party scene. Dj Rell has already djed on online radio, college radio and FM radio in less than a year. Growing up at Hot 97, WBLS and around artist such as Smiff n Wessun and Black Moon he has a natural stride in the business. Influenced and coached by some of the legends in the game DJ Evil Dee, Kool Dj Red Alert, Ralph Mcdaniels and more, Dj Rell is on his way. Rell is also making a mark in the corporate world djing at Timberland and Macys just to name a few businesses who now have him on speed dial.
